Executive Summary

Pakistan is the 4th largest exporter of rice after Vietnam, Thailand and India. Rice is the 3rd largest crop produced in Pakistan, with annual production of rice exceeding 6 million tons. Around 60% of the produce is exported, and together with the rest of the Indian sub-continent, it is responsible for supplying 30% of the world’s paddy rice output. Rice exports contribute more than US$ 2 billion to the national exchequer, and have been growing at a staggering rate of 26% in value over the last 5 years.

The journey of HMRM started with the entrepreneurial aptitude of Haji Amin Ullah, who initially started a State of the Art Rice processing plant at the mid of Rice growing area of Punjab, and the main Rice Hub of Pakistan, i.e. Muridke..

We have large number of godowns for stocking rice in order to fulfill our export requirements for the whole year. We enhanced our storage capacity from 100,000 Bags to 150,000 Bags / 100kgs during this year. We have the complete range of (Basmati, Super kernel, 1121 Long grain, 1509 Long grain, Medium grain, PK-386, etc), the best No # 1 Pakistani rice. Our product is well milled, well graded and well sortexed.

We have our own Printing, Cutting and Stitching unit for bags used in rice packing, equipped with modern machinery and qualified experienced staff.
